Clay County, SD Becomes First in State to Adopt Catalis Enterprise CAMA
Clay County, South Dakota, has become the first in the state to adopt the cloud-based Catalis Enterprise CAMA mass appraisal system, replacing its outdated legacy system to enhance operational efficiency, data consistency, and valuation accuracy through integrations with Esri GIS, EagleView imagery, and CoreLogic’s cost modeling, marking Catalis's expansion into its 21st state.
Catalis announced that Clay County, South Dakota, has selected Catalis Enterprise CAMA as its new mass appraisal solution, making it the first jurisdiction in South Dakota to deploy the platform.
The county is moving away from a legacy CAMA system that suffered from outdated architecture and inconsistent customer support. By adopting Catalis Enterprise CAMA, Clay County is transitioning to a modern, cloud-based solution designed to meet the evolving needs of assessors and improve operational efficiency.
Lennea Olson, Director of Equalization at the Clay County Assessor’s Office, stated: “We currently use multiple computer systems and rely heavily on manipulating our data by hand. We are excited that Catalis and their Enterprise CAMA solution will be a ‘one-stop shop’ for our office. We are looking forward to greater efficiency and consistency in the data that we provide to our taxpayers.”
Catalis Enterprise CAMA is now deployed in 21 states, demonstrating its scalability and adaptability across various regulatory environments. The platform is noted for its strong core valuation functionality and wide-ranging integrations, making it a versatile and reliable CAMA system.
Clay County will benefit from integrations with tools such as Esri GIS, EagleView imagery, and CoreLogic’s Marshall & Swift cost modeling. These integrations, along with robust core features, will enable the Assessor’s Office to conduct valuations with increased speed, accuracy, and transparency.
